City Centre
Met friends at City Centre to complete our long exposure project of fire and water. These delightfully cooler temps have arrived with some winds; enough to intermittently blow out the firepots. Met a wonderful couple and snapped a few shots of them as they enjoyed a night out.

City Centre
This quote was sent to me by a friend. "You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all of the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved." Ansel Adams
Shown through my lens are a few of the scenes and the people who were enjoying a moment at City Centre.

Water Wall
We had a fun evening in The Galleria area. We saw Peter Lik Gallery, enjoyed good company and dinner, saw Mike Marvins Big Bend exhibit in the Williams Tower and topped off the evening with photography at the water wall. Life is good.

The Winery
What a wonderful morning at Haak Winery. The blessing was followed by families and workers harvesting the grapes. We learned that green grapes are harvested at this time of year while red grapes are typically harvested in the fall. A family with umbrella and wagon provided a photo opp not to be missed. It was most rewarding enjoying their contributions to the harvesting.

Galveston Invaded by Seaweed
It was a beautiful morning at Galveston. We began the day with a walk along the beach and then breakfast at Hotel Galvez. Television reports of seawood seem to be under-stated. Some sections of the beach were best left alone while others were quite pleasant. Ah for the sea breezes...
