Battleship Texas Overnight

Our group spent the night and had after-hour tours on the ship.  We learned so much of the history and some about the every day life aboard the ship.  We came away with a greater understanding and respect for all who served in the military.  There were countless trips up and down the narrow stairs so my workout routine is not needed this weekend.

Our guide took the time to get the young men in our group involved in each step of the tour. Understanding can be the foundation of respect.
