The numerous crews and officers requires precision coordination and, as one of the crew mentioned, some luck.  We saw history being made yesterday as the plane left Ellington Field for its home where it will be shared with future generations.

People Watching at Discovery Green

Our day at Discovery Green would not be complete without some of the interesting people along the way.  The photos range from the joy of a child enjoying the water to the inherent sadness seen in others. Behind the lens, I sometimes wonder what has caused such sadness and loss of joy.

Five of us met to enjoy a quick bite to eat, tango and the Houston Symphony outdoors.  What could be better than front row seats. Somewhere during the evening, the hill behind us overflowed with spectators.
